2009.04.14 Arrow Energy lands $17 million waste-to-energy, biofuels deal in California - Biofuels Digest

In California, Arrow Ecology and Engineering Associates won a $17 million municipal contract for conversion of solid waste to biofuels. Under the agreement, Arrow will utilize 50,000 tons per year of solid waste from the CR&R Waste and Recycling Services sorting facilities that service the Los Angeles area. The ArrowBio process converts 85 percent of solid waste to biogas, which can be reformed into renewable natural gas or a BioOil suitable for heavy machinery operation.
